The specific Purposes of the Foundation are the following:

1. Respect for and development of human rights.
2. Promoting the values of democratic co-existence, and political and social pluralism.
3. Driving forth any initiative geared at developing human dignity, by promoting respect, dialogue and exchange of ideas and opinions.
4. Special attention to problems related to women, sustainable development, immigration and the construction of Europe.

The Foundation shall articulate the achievement of these goals by defining research lines as its main core of activity.
